The F word.
You ask me why. But I ask you, why not?
I know it may seem very hard in the beginning but trust me, once you have used this word when you are angry, you will feel a sudden gush of deep inner peace that nothing in the world can match. This deep inner peace will be so amazing that you will want to experience it over and again.
Such is the power of the F word that anger will never be too long inside you. You will be able to, not just control, but enjoy the pleasant feel of letting go every bit of anger inside you. All with just one F word. Read more
My Mother, My Mother
Has some crazy obsessions.
Come close for I whisper
About her secret possessions.
Obsession No 1. : NOTHING IS GARBAGE.
For start, nothing ever is GARBAGE. I mean, literally nothing ever is garbage. Everything can be used, recycled, altered, upgraded into something that can be used.
A shopping bag is NEVER a garbage. It can be used for storing things, as travel bags, picnic bags, delivery bags etc.
A gift wrapper is never a garbage. It can be used to wrap gifts for others. ( yeah I know you have experienced this.)
An empty cream jar or a jam bottle IS NOT A GARBAGE. It can be used for keeping jewelry or homemade jam or leftover pasta sauce.
Obsession No 2. : CLOTHES ARE IMMORTAL.
No matter how many million times you have worn that shirt, you can still wear them a million times more. Read more
It’s been 2 months and 2 days (yes, I counted) since I published a blog on scrapyard. Does that mean I stopped writing? How about I tell you I have about 40 drafts, some with only titles, some with only images and some with a few paragraphs. Does that explain anything?
It certainly doesn’t make any sense to me, at all.
Why would I have 40 incomplete and unfinished blogs? Why would I start something and not finish it? Why would I even begin writing a new blog when previous is lying half dead.
And you know what, I am uncertain if this current blog is going to find its way to the “Publish” button or will it end up with “save draft.” Read more
Should I have named by blog “Why We All Hate Hospitals?” because clearly none of us loves the hospitals…Well yeah unless you are a doctor and your hospital is paying you huge papers then hospitals are your heaven…But to the rest of us, Hospitals are HEWS-PIT-als.
I hate hospitals because hospitals are a place of sadness. You look around everywhere only to find pale skinned people on beds as if the entire blood has been sucked out of their body. Most of the people admitted will be weak and vulnerable as they lay helpless on the bed.
You will also find men, women and children with cuts and wounds and burns and WHAT NOT….
You will see people in pain, in agony, in an unsatisfying comfort.
The only exception to the part of hospitals being a sad place is the MATERNITY WARD where of course new mothers are glowing with shine as they hold their new born babies, as new fathers hold their son/daughter and kiss their wife, as grandparents/friends/family bring in flowers, chocolates, cakes, doughnuts, hot chocolate milk, fudge pastries (***slaps herself out of the world of sweets***). So I am going a little out of way… Well a lot out of way actually but hey these people tried to pull me down in a deep hole and there was no way out from it…
Alright, I know I am making no sense (oh don’t you dare you “you never do”)… Let me clear it up….
It went something like this : I got an award…. I nominated my favorite bloggers for that award…. In return for my good favor, they nominated me back….Exactly… I mean is there no good left in this world? You give someone an award and the next moment, they are throwing their sharp daggers at you :P…
I didn’t want to nominate those people again, so I am going the other way round.
Thank you Amira and Ahmed for nominating me back for the award… I still don’t know whether you guys took revenge or was it coz I deserved it… ( Deserved to be put in the same situation aha, I KNEW IT).
They both asked 11 questions as the custom of the award puts it. So here are my answers to them . Read more
